~Tuesday's Tips & Techniques: More TAGS~

Tags are just so much fun to make. I am especially enjoying creating a vintage look.

Begin with some distress inks, an applicator (can be a blending tool or a paper towel) and whatever kind of tag you like. I am using one from an office supply store here. Now, very carefully, crumple the tag into a ball with your hands. Okay, so you don't really need to be careful. Just crunch it up. Really go for it, the more creases the better!

 Now, flatten it back out.

Next, grab your applicator and some ink. Run the applicator lightly over your tag. You only want to hit the raised sections.

Now try using a second color of ink.

I finished mine off with a couple Tim Holtz stamps.

There you have it, a brand new "vintage" tag~
