Cookbookin' has a gorgeous new line filled with bright summery papers!!! They sent me a big box of it to play with over the weekend and did I ever have fun! Lots of potential in these cute papers.
Above, I used a few of the papers and one of the DARLING new recipe cards to make a tribute to LEMONADE layout. The apron is cut with my Cricut.
{Thanks for the Gypsy mom, it works GREAT!}
On this layout I used only one sheet of the new paper, a recipe card and some cardstock from my stash. We love pie around here, too much I'm afraid...
The layout features a cute little brad shaped like a rolling pin (also Cookbookin') that I used to finish my kitchen-foil punched flower. I used a Fiskars border punch to make my faux lace edges and then sewed them onto my layout with a zig-zag stitch. The little blue pie stamp is also by Cookbookin' and I gotta say, they have the best quality stamps out there. I haven't messed up with them even ONE time!
They sent me an extra large recipe box too. I absolutely love this little pea pod paper, isn't it cute? I jazzed it up with some fun crystal trim, just had to!
While I was working on this over the weekend, my older daughter was in the kitchen painting her landform project for school. So I very sweetly set down my naked chipboard letters in front of her and she happily said, "What color mommy?" Gotta love that! Once they were dry I used some Glossy Accents to give them that epoxy look.
I used some scraps and some border strips to decorate the dividers on the inside of the box.
This flip book was in the box too and I just had to use an older line from Cookbookin' for this one! It just called out "Mom's Diner!" Yes, that is the elusive MS loops punch. Love it!
And now.
I bet you can guess what is next.
Of course,
A STAR!
And guess what else! This is the back of my other kitchen star!!! So I can just turn it around on my counter with my moods. Or the seasons I suppose...
Happy Wednesday,
